Special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine

Rosaviatsia extended the regime of temporary restriction of flights to the airports of the south and center of the Russian Federation until April 7. This was reported in the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency. These are the air harbors of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.

“Russian airlines are recommended to organize the transportation of passengers to these airports to organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes, using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow. Other airports in Russia, including international ones, operate normally, ”the agency’s website said.

Rosaviatsia has been closing the skies of its southern regions since the beginning of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine on February 24. Russians who want to get to the south of the country can come by train or fly to the nearest open cities – for example, in Sochi.

The purpose of the special operation is the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. At the moment, the advancing troops have liberated almost the entire Luhansk People’s Republic and most of the DNR. Mariupol is being stormed.
