Sanctions against Russia in general and the Urals in particular

To prevent a shortage in the event of the withdrawal of foreign pharmaceutical companies from the Russian market, the Ministry of Health has begun collecting data on drugs that are not produced in the country. This follows from a letter sent by the agency to the regions.

“The letter from the Ministry of Health is about interchangeability within the therapeutic group. Clinical pharmacologists will be able to give clinical recommendations on which antibiotic or viral drug can be replaced with another, ”Evgeny Nifantyev, a member of the State Duma’s Committee on Industry and Trade, told Vedomosti. A copy of the document is available at the newspaper. According to the parliamentarian, now pharmacists can offer drugs only for the active substance.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Health, this work is being carried out so that the regions know in advance what to temporarily replace medicines in case of logistics violations. All pharmaceutical manufacturers continue to work on the Russian market, deliveries are on schedule, and the agency sees no reason for a shortage of some groups of drugs, the interlocutor added.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that stocks of medicines for the privileged category of citizens in Russia will be enough for more than 5 months. Despite the fact that residents of different Russian cities are buying imported drugs en masse, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has repeatedly noted that there is no shortage of them in the country, and the situation with drugs remains stable. Foreign manufacturers have confirmed the continuation of cooperation with Russia. In addition, four associations of pharmaceutical manufacturers (ARFP, AIPM, SPFO, APF) are asking the government and the State Duma to simplify the procedure for putting medicines into civil circulation.
