The Russian army destroyed large ammunition depots in the Zhytomyr region. This was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov.
“Large caliber cruise missiles destroyed large ammunition depots in the settlements of Ushomir and Veselovka in the Zhytomyr region,” Konashenkov was quoted as saying by the Defense Ministry’s telegram channel. He also noted that a group of Ukrainian troops in the suburbs of Kiev was supplied from these warehouses.
Russia has been conducting a special operation in Ukraine since February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared its goals to be denazification and demilitarization. According to him, the military must eliminate useless casualties among civilians and hit military facilities, weapons of the APU and national battalions. Russia is advancing in various directions.
