“The 53-year-old driver of a Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer, moving from Perm to Ekaterinburg, did not take into account weather and meteorological conditions, failed to drive, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a DAF semi-trailer. As a result of the accident, both cars allowed the exit from the roadway, “- said in a press release of the department, which is available to URA.RU.
The collision was without casualties, the drivers were sober. At the scene of the accident, work is underway to eliminate the consequences after the accident.
Earlier it was reported that eight cars collided on the highway near Ekaterinburg, blocking the passage on the Tyumen tract. Heavy snowfall started in Yekaterinburg in the morning, which caused traffic jams on the city’s roads. Accidents were recorded in the center and on the outskirts of Ekaterinburg.
