Fakes about Russia’s special operation in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has invited former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy to visit the city of Bucha in the Kiev region. The proposal was announced after the publication of a video, which the Defense Ministry has already called a fake and provocation.

“I invite Ms. Merkel, Mr. Sarkozy, to visit Bucha and see what Russia’s policy of concessions has led to,” Zelensky said in a video message published in his Telegram. According to him, all accusations against Russia in connection with the special operation in Ukraine will be considered at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Tuesday. The Ukrainian leader intends to inform all Kyiv partners about them.

Earlier, Ukrainian authorities and the media disseminated a video allegedly taken in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, where the bodies of the dead lie on the road. The Ministry of Defense called the publication another staging of the Kiev regime. It is noted that notes about the “killings” in Bucha appeared four days after Russian troops left the city. In addition, identification marks of the Russian military were seen on bodies posing as “victims of the occupation.”

Russia launched a special operation to demilitarize and denationalize Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the decision to conduct a special operation forced. During the special operation, Ukraine was repeatedly accused of falsifying facts and creating fakes. For example, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine published footage from the game Arma3 as confirmation of the destruction of Russian helicopters over Kherson.
